Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS) provides an international forum for reporting progress and recent advances in the modern development of electromagnetic theory and its new and exciting applications.

PIERS 2006 - Tokyo will be held at Korakuen Campus, Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan, on 2 - 5 August 2006.

• The Visa Application Form is now available. For those who need visas for entry into Japan, please fill out the VISA APPLICATION FORM and send it to the PIERS 2006-Tokyo Registration Secretariat as soon as possible. For any inquiries related to visas, please contact:

• The PIERS 2006 - Tokyo Final Call for Papers is now available here.

• We are accepting abstract submissions until 31 March 2006. If you have not yet submitted the abstracts, you still have time. Please note, however, that the on-line abstract submission webpage will be closed on 1 April 2006.

• Acceptance notification will be sent by 5 April 2006.

• The PIERS 2006 - Tokyo is accepting Full-length papers.
  An author of an accepted abstract is invited to (but is not required to) submit a full-length paper of no more than five pages. Full-length paper submission webpage is open until 31 May 2006.

• It is strongly recommended that you use the On-Line Submission to submit your Full-length Papers.

• Registration and Lodging information has been updated. The deadline of Pre-registration was 17 April 2006, but it has been extended. The new deadline is 17 May 2006. Please note that presenting authors must pre-register by the new deadline of 17 May 2006 . Only pre-registered papers will be scheduled in the symposium program.
