Activities and Events

The reception will be held in HONOLULU Suite at 3:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2003.

PIERS 2003 Hawaii Committee is pleased to announce that there will be a joint banquet with "2003 IEEE Topical Conference on Wireless Communication Technology", which will be held in the evening on Wednesday, October 15th, 2003. Participants can purchase the tickets now.

Projection Facilities

Overhead and LCD projectors will be provided in each meeting room. Please note, however, that computers/laptops for use with presentations are NOT available.

Poster Sessions

Poster Session I will be held on October 15, 9:00AM-11:00AM.
Poster Session II will be held on October 15, 2:00PM-4:00PM.
Poster Session III will be held on October 16, 9:00AM-11:00AM.

All poster sessions will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel in room "Niihau". The Coffee Breaks will overlap with the available time for the Poster Sessions, providing all the participants with a conducive atmosphere for exchanging technical information.

Each paper will have one display panel available, measuring approximately 8 ft wide by 4 ft tall(2.4m by 1.2m). Poster material can be fixed on the boards with pins only, which will be provided by the PIERS office. It is recommended that the display materials use a 24 point size font or larger for all titles and 18 point size font for normal text. For finer details, a smaller font may be used sparingly.

Each author should set up the poster at the designated display location (available at the symposium registration desk). The poster materials should be set up one hour before the sessions start and should be removed in one hour after the sessions end.
